Compañeros,
A big shout out from Santo Domingo, Ecuador. Hope everyone is well and doing work that is worth doing. I spent the day visiting some of my students who are completing an agricultural internship in the coastal area of Ecuador. The highlight was a non-textbook ascent of a cherrymoya (sp? Google it) tree to harvest some of its delicious, funky shaped fruit. The operation was a success with only minor corporal damage inflicted by some unneighborly red ants.
Much love from the backwoods and backwaters,
zc

Boomer!
I did not know the blog was being updated, I will have to check in more often.
It was good to see you when you were home, it sounds like things are still rocking in your neck of the woods. Keep jamming! I am anxiuos to see some new pics of the chicken houses and talapia farms, it really sounds like things are moving down there..very good.
Smore made the move, and he loves it. He still stays close to the house, but I have no doubt he will be terrorizing the neighborhood soon. I have noticed him eying the dairy cows with a gleam in his eye. I have determined he thinks he might “take one down” when the time is right…
Proud of you, be safe out there.
Press On.
Love,
Brian
